The best source for learning test format is the set of Test Information Guides provided by the test publisher.
Test Information Guides are free of cost and have the most accurate and up-to-date test format information.
Beware of for-profit study guides & webinars challenged to provide accurate and up-to-date test format information.

Test Content
As you heard in the workshops, those who have trained before you recommend textbooks for studying test content.
Another source for learning test content, based on the competencies is also the set of Test Information Guides.
These guides often include a set of practice questions designed to help you learn the test competencies.


Beware of for-profit study guides & webinars that provide inaccurate and out-of-date test information.

Skills
Skills cannot be mastered by reading a study guide or listening to a webinar. They must be practiced and mastered.
If you are using a recommended guide, consider practicing your skills (IDEAS) on their questions, quizzes, and tests.

Running through practice test questions in a study guide does NOT improve performance. In fact, you are more likely
to reinforce bad habits. Instead, learn the competencies, work on your fundamental test skills, and determine your
strengths and weaknesses in each area. Study. Then, use your knowledge, skills, and confidence to take the quiizzes
and practice tests at The Test Camp.
